Hitched and ready to set off for a fabulous ride.

Breaking away...

Mexican cafe pitstop for some yummy lunch. I'm so lucky to have these two as my companions. They made lunch all the better.

Sunday at the playground.

Hanging at the playground.

It's been a rainy few months and we're checking out new places and experiences. Here's Milan's first bowling outing. He played like he'd been playing forever. I guess our home bowling (empty water bottles and a mini-playground ball) got him up to speed. We came up with the game in London when the sun went down at 4pm and he still wanted to play, play, play. Look at that form! We all enjoyed it and particularly loved the styling shoes. Juan bought a pair that resemble them closely for weekend-wear.

Now, every time we pass the bowling alley Milan asks if we can go bowling.

Getting set to score another Spare.

We got a bike trailer to hitch Milan up to Juan's bike. A great set up for long hauls, but Milan still wants to pedal the entire way. We went for lunch at a Mexican cafe near our home and headed off on a local bike trail and after almost two hours (Milan pedaling to keep pace even when Juan's just cruising) Milan says "I feel sick" - poor thing no matter how much we said stop pedaling he still felt he should. The ride back was interesting, because Juan and I were worried that Milan would fall asleep and let go of the handlebars. I kept riding up and pointing things out just to keep him alert. He doesn't nap anymore, but after this outing he crashed! We're hoping that next time maybe he'll pedal less.

Two cute goofballs. What's not to love here?!

We dog-sat our neighbor's dog for a week and Milan and Champ really bonded. He'd invite Champ into his room and play with his legos while Champ would lie there and watch. It made for an hour of quiet for Mom and Dad.

Blowing bubbles on a cold February day.

It finally got really cold here, not that we missed having cold days, because the nights are freezing in the back part of the house. Albeit we can't complain - it's still very much California weather and even if we're ready for summer it still hasn't been too cold here.

Milan showing off his beautiful Valentines which he gave to his classmates.

Out for a drive.
